Instead of giving you the generic Swinger Tips provided on many lifestyle websites, DPSwing has decided to publish a letter written on our yahoo group site. This letter was written by (1) one of our most loved couples that have assisted this group along our journey within the lifestyle.
"The conversations recently have been very interesting regarding the attendance of a lifestyle event. No matter
where you stand you should know you have a responsibility to your
guests. The best way to avoid people being offended (or being the
offender) is to prepare them for the environment.
We have brought single males and females to swinger events. We have
noticed lately that things have changed since we started in the
lifestyle some 6 years ago. There was a time when everyone knew
exactly what kind of party they were coming to. Lately that does not
always seem to be the case (and not just DPSwing events). Some people
bring guests hoping the moment will overwhelm them and they will join
in. Others know they just want to watch, etc... But when you invite
them you should explain to them what kind of party it is and what is
expected of them. Many times their reaction to the rules will tell
you if they are WORTHY of hanging with us mature adults.
We always tell anyone new coming to an onsite party with us the
following rules:
* It is not a free for all. This ain't a supermarket where you can
take whatever you want to the counter.
* For the Women - Many of the women are bisexual and may approach
you. If you are straight or not interested just say so in nice way.
* For the Men - Every woman should be approached with the highest of
respect. Don't touch until given permission. And if she is part of
a couple, you better talk to the man also and show respect (This
rule applies for single women approaching the man of a couple also)
* For couples - Know what your boundaries are before you come. TALK
ABOUT THEM OPENLY. We don't care how upset you may get(Shit happens!!!),
but you leave with the person you came with.
* For the men of the couple - If you KNOW that it will absolutely
drive you crazy to see your woman with another man tell her. Don't
agree so you can get as much pussy as you want only to lose your mind
when she gets her groove on.
* You will see naked people - That is not an open invitation to join
in. Please don't stare (Unless they are exhibitionist)
* There is a chance that you may not play with anyone because people
need to be comfortable and attracted to you. Sometimes people just
need to get to know you better before things will happen. Take it in
stride and know the payoff is coming in the future.
To everyone: Don't be afraid to tell people you swing steelo. If
